The National
Industrial Security Program (3-107) requires agencies and companies
to provide an annual security awareness briefing to all persons
holding US government security clearances.
DOD Instruction
5240.6 requires annual security awareness briefings for all DOD
military, civilian employees and contractor personnel.
The Sarbanes-Oxley
Act of 2002 requires senior management to assume the responsibility
for protecting corporate information. This responsibility cannot be
delegated to lower ranks.
