The D*I*C*E ULTIMATUM briefing

REGULATIONS on Annual Security Awareness Briefings:

NEW: DOD Operations Security (OPSEC) Program Manual dated 3 Nov 2008, Number 5205.02-M

".....As a minimum, all personnel shall receive ANNUAL refresher OPSEC training that reinforces understanding of OPSEC policies and procedures, critical information, and procedures covered in initial and specialized training. Refresher training should also address the threat and techniques employed by adversaries attempting to obtain classified and sensitive information....."

The National Industrial Security Program (3-107) requires agencies and companies to provide an annual security awareness briefing to all persons holding US government security clearances.

DOD Instruction 5240.6 requires annual security awareness briefings for all DOD military, civilian employees and contractor personnel.

The Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 requires senior management to assume the responsibility for protecting corporate information. This responsibility cannot be delegated to lower ranks.

D*I*C*E Man Ray Semko has chosen this year's theme, "The D*I*CE ULTIMATUM", because of accumulating threats to the security of your organization, this is the year you need to have ultimate security awareness, ultimate espionage awareness, ultimate information security (INFOSEC) awareness, ultimate operations security (OPSEC) awareness, and ultimate terrorism awareness.

The CI Centre is now scheduling D*I*C*E ULTIMATUM briefings for your organization, anywhere in the world. Ray Semko's powerful, dynamic and entertaining two-hour briefings will grab the attention of your employees with the important message of security awareness--and won't let go. Semko will wake up your organization to the real and present threats it faces--each briefing is tailored to the customer. Employees leave the briefing with a heightened sense of awareness and are re-charged to protect their organization's assets.

"We recently had Ray Semko come to Ft Monmouth to give his DICE briefing and it was a huge success. Well worth the money. Ray presented seven briefings in a four day period and each one was not only captivating and motivational but extremely educational for our workforce. Approximately 2500 people attended the DICE presentations. The audiences included individuals from government and industry as well as security professional groups. I randomly surveyed numerous DICE briefing attendees and received excellent feedback from all. On a personal note, I have been a security professional with the government for 25+ years and have attended many DICE briefings over the years. I never tire of listening to and learning from Ray. He is an inspiration to my profession."--Security Office, USA CECOM, Ft Monmouth, NJ

Every day there are stories in the news about a trusted insider stealing protected information from where they work and selling it to a foreign country or competitor. Home-grown terrorists plan an attack against US military bases on America soil. A disgruntled employee sabotages a computer system. Information is lost, lives are lost and jobs are lost. How will your organization deal with these threats? Do your employees have the ULTIMATE awareness of these threats?

Since 1989, Ray Semko has presented his famous D*I*C*E (Defensive Information to Counter Espionage) briefings around the world to hundreds of thousands of people--often to packed, standing room only audiences. Semko's objective is to help your employees recognize America’s adversaries, their targets and methods of operation and how to prevent these adversaries from exploiting our nation’s security and your company's security by effectively protecting classified, proprietary and sensitive information.

The D*I*C*E Man’s goal is to increase your employees’ security awareness of threats from espionage (including cyber and industrial/economic espionage) and terrorism, as well as enhance employee awareness of OPSEC (operations security), INFOSEC (information security), and personnel security. He can also give "behind-the-scenes" of D*I*C*E briefings to show how to motivate your employees through dynamic communication techniques.

The US Government NISPOM mandates that all employees and contractors who have access to classified information MUST receive an security awareness briefing EVERY YEAR. The US Department of Defense has similar requirements as do many companies. Don't waste time coming up with a new briefing every year--have a yearly D*I*C*E briefing and your employees will look forward to it!

D*I*C*E briefings are also very popular for conferences, conventions and meetings. Call the CI Centre today at 1-800-779-4007 or 703-642-7450 or fill out this online form to schedule your D*I*C*E briefing this year.
