Storm Petrels

In 1977, author Gordon Brook-Shepherd wrote a book called "The Storm Petrels: The Flight of the First Soviet Defectors." The book told the stories of the first people to come out of Soviet Russia and warn the West about totalitarian Communism.

Now we have a new set of Storm Petrels:

First there are brave Muslims, ex-Muslims and those who lived in Muslim countries or under Islam who have come forward as 'storm petrels' to warn the West about totalitarian Islamic Jihadism via books, speeches, etc.

 

Then there are the scholars, authors, analysts and webmasters who have researched and write about this threat.

 

Finally there are those individuals who have read these books, read the websites and have educated themselves on this threat (because academia or the media don't/won't educate the public about Jihadism).

The Centre for Counterintelligence and Security Studies (CI Centre) designed and developed the Storm Petrel logo and concept to show to the attendees of our courses the authors they should be reading to learn about the jihadist threat. Upon completion of the CI Centre course, The War on Terrorism: Roots of the Conflict and Counterintelligence Response, we give each attendee a specially-made Storm Petrel pin. Although you have to take this course to get this special pin, if you've become a Storm Petrel after reading these books, we've made other items available with the Storm Petrel logo including posters we've designed on our store.
